Scott has been ministering at Redeemer since 1996. He began as a part-time youth minister while attending Dallas Theological Seminary. He came on as a full-time assistant in the spring of 2000. He became Redeemer's interim pastor in the Fall of 2011 and full-time pastor in February 2012.
Scott's passion is to daily grow deeper in love with God, and point God's family at RBC to do the same.

In 2013, after a year and a half of dating, Scott married Brenda. She is a part-time school counselor. In 2016, God graciously blessed their family with three beautiful girls through the gift of adoption. Scott and Brenda are amazed and deeply grateful for how God has brought them together as a family. One of their favorite activities is getting outside and exploring nature together!
